· Deploy and maintain applications on cloud-native micro-services architecture
· Manage the continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
· Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, recovery, and security/performance monitoring
· Help increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability
· Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
· Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
· Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments
· Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
Skills & requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· 3+ years of experience as DevOps engineer
· Experience with maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
· Strong experience with AWS or any other cloud platform
· Strong experience with containers (Docker, Compose, ECS, Kubernetes)
· Strong experience with various managed and self-hosted CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Travis, Drone, Mule, Spinnaker)
· Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI
· Strong experience with version control system experience (e.g. Git)
· Strong experience with SQL RDBMS experience(e.g. Postgres)
· Experience with NoSQL experience (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)
· Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible)
· Experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube
· Experience with artifact servers
